Plan Your Visit To London

The most important thing you should do before visit London is to plan your trip to the last detail. There are a great number of places that are worthy of being visited and things to be experienced  so   planning your visit is the best thing you can do to explore as much of the city's treasures as possible.

Some basic planning will avoid unnecessary traipsing around on foot or annoying waiting for public transport. So make sure that you plan a day out so that you will maximize the number and variety of things you can see.

First you should decide how long your stay will be. If you are in London only for a day or for a weekend consider doing a hop-on ho-off double-decker bus tour as it passes the main sights. Make a research about the most popular tourist attractions, the hour each of them open and the prices of tickets if they are not free.

Although there are a lot of things to do in London in the rain, a week of low slate-grey skies and constant rain is not contributing to have a good time. If you want to enjoy nice weather you should plan visiting the UK's capital in late summer or autumn. But dad weather could be a great opportunity to visit some of the many excellent London museums and galleries.

Find the most appropriate accommodation and make sure that you book in advance. There is a wide variety of great hotels in London. Best to be near a tube station because buses can be very slowly and taxes expensive. Look for hotels located in the central part of London such as Islington hotels. The greatest restaurants are in Soho/Chinatown, Islington and the south west of London where you can enjoy vibrant nightlife.

Whether you choose one of the hotels in Islington or in other district of London, you should be prepared for a memorable stay in the British capital.
