The Natural And Man-Made Gems Of Sardinia

Sardinia is blessed with natural and man-made gems, all of which are far from overrated. You can more or less visit the island at any time of the year and expect the weather to be much better than what you have to live within the United Kingdom - even at the high of the summer.

If you are staying in Doubletree Sardinia and you want to explore the island, it is hard to know where to start or what to choose to see, especially if your time is limited by work. Let’s face it; no holiday is ever long enough...

Stintino for example has a lot to offer. La Pelosetta is arguably the best beach in the area. its gradual decent into the pleasant temperatures of the turquoise blue waters of the Mediterranean is remarkable enough to keep you submerged for hours.

You do however pay for what you get in Sardinia - in terms of eating out and buying drinks... The prices are definitely touristic, for want of a better word, and your proximity to the next sunbather is a confirmation of just how popular this beach is.

If you would prefer to explore a less popular beach, you will be hard put to find any that are dramatically different in terms of prices and the shear volumes of people, but you could try Le Saline Beach. It is a quieter alternative to the most popular and expensive beaches of La Pelosa and La Pelosetta. Parking near this beach if you are driving is also free.

Ask the staff in Doubletree Hotel Sardinia about the old mill by this beach. It is worth visiting.
