Vienna - Land of Song

The capital of Austria, Vienna is still a relatively small city, with a population of just two million. But it punches well above its weight as a tourist destination, with more sights and cultural events than in many much larger cities. 

It is difficult to think of Vienna without the refrain from the Ultravox song of the same name reverberating through one’s mind, and it is not without good reason that the song refers to “pizzicato strings” and weaving music.
